Players Must Ignore Media's Transparent Transfer Talk Agenda

How Predictable! Starved of any negative news coming out of Celtic Park lately, the smsm has reverted to type and brought out an old favourite in their collection of sticks to beat us with. Yes fellow Bhoys it's time for the Celtic players linked with other clubs game. The rules of this game are ever so simple. All you do is pick a player, preferably a fan favourite and publish an article about how they are being tracked by other clubs. Sounds simple right? Well there are a few illegal moves to avoid. Each article must contain no concrete evidence of a move and if you must use a quote from someone to back up your story then ensure it is an anonymous one.
Kieran Tierney is the chosen subject for this game and guess what? KT is the target of Manchester City, Arsenal and Bayern Munich. It's true because our media says so. Give me a break! There hasn't been one shred of evidence printed to back this nonsense up! In fact the closest anyone comes to giving us a quote is "The Sun" who tells us they have spoken to an Etihad Source. Utter Nonsense! There is no source and there is no story. These ratbags will do anything to unsettle our players and Moussa Dembele was bombarded with the same garbage last week. Speaking of quotes check this out from the Daily Ranger:

Now that is an absolute corker of a statement is it not? Why is there so much negativity around Scottish Football? I'll tell you why: It involves a corrupt F.A, a 4 year old club constantly issuing inflammatory statements and a media content to run our game into the ground at every oppurtunity. There seems to be some sort of confusion that Celtic fans love the idea of an up and coming talent being chased by other big clubs. There are no words to describe such stupidity! I hope the likes of KT and MD are not letting this go to their heads. No one is denying they are both exceptional talents but this is less about talking up the Scottish game and more about unsettling our players as we approach our league cup semi final against Newco Rangers. Their agenda is as clear as day and hopefully the Celtic players can see it a mile off.
